Policy

Hours of Service

Mon-Fri:  6:30 am to 6:30 pm

Closed: Saturdays & Sundays

Holidays Closed: New Year's Eve and Day, Memorial Day, 

                           4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day,                                                                   Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Meals


Breakfast, Lunch, snack are served daily. Your child will be enrolled in the Child and Adult Food Program

that insures your child will

 served nutritionally balanced meals. 

Nap Time

Kiddie-Sitters maintains a safe and sanitary facility; bedding/soft toys are laundered weekly. We also allow children to bring a blanket from home as comfort measure.  

"Safe Sleep" procedures implemented daily.

Discipline

Kiddie-Sitters LLC; will not participate in any type of corporal punishment. Kiddie-Sitters LL enforces positive discipline techniques such as making expectations clear, reminders,

and taking privileges away. * You will be informed if a problem persists.* We also reserve the right to terminate enrollment immediately for the safety of all children and staff.


Records


Kiddie-Sitters is required by The State of MO to have certain written information and permissons on file in order to care for your child. Information regarding your family is kept private except for the reporting necessary to the MO State licensing agency.

Admissions


Kiddie-Sitters LLC., daycare Director will review details with parents regarding ALL services provided

Kiddie-Sitters LLC. Does NOT discriminate based on race, creed, color, religion, sex or national origin. We do, however, recognize that not every child will fit comfortably with the Kiddie-Sitters family;   for this reason, every new child begins on a two week trial period

.

Fire and Storm Drills


A fire escape plan is posted at each entrance. Fire Drills are practiced monthly to prepare for an emergency  situation. Tornado Drills are practiced quarterly.

Smoking


Is prohibited in Kiddie-Sitters daycare during hours of care.


Sick Child Policy

 

Caregivers will notify parent/guardian if a child becomes ill during the day. This includes, but is not limited to, a fever of 101 degrees or more, vomiting, diarrhea or a rash. An illness exclusion list is provided to you upon enrollment.



Holding a Space


A $50.00 fee holds a spot for a specified date and age of child. This fee is non-refundable, if alternate arrangements are not made within the first 5-day work week has ended.   (after date of payment).

       Inclement Weather
Parents will receive text/email and check Fox 4 weather under school/daycare closings.
